Our Burgundy Pigskin Suede Hides have a soft, velvety nap and a fine, even texture that feels smooth to the touch. At approximately 0.8 mm thick, this lightweight leather is ideal for linings and intricate craftwork. Made from the flesh side of the hide, pigskin suede shows a natural pore pattern and a gentle brushed finish that sets it apart from other leathers.
The deep burgundy tone brings warmth and richness to any design. Despite its light feel, pigskin’s dense fibre structure gives it excellent strength, making it easy to cut, stitch, and glue with confidence.
